CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS & QUALIFICATIONS

CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC (CC-P)

 

The candidate must have demonstrated to the employer, through skills assessment training or a previous assignment, an ability to perform the duties of a Critical Care Paramedic. The candidate must have experience with helicopter rescue operations; including exposure to small-vessels, and providing critical care to multiple patients in an austere environment. The candidate must have also completed company procedural training and verification as deemed necessary by the employer. Along with mandatory clinical employment certifications and/or training.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION

 

An individual employed in the position of Critical Care Paramedic shall hold either:

 

  • American or Canadian Paramedic Certification (CCP or NRP)

  • In addition to Paramedic Certification applicant must have at least one of the following:

  • Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C), Certified Tactical Paramedic (TP-C), or Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic (CCEMT-P)

  • Current add on certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, TCCC or TMP. 

  • Minimum of 5 years Flight Paramedic experience, SOF/Non-Standard CASEVAC experience preferred.

  • Able to pass physical, written and psychomotor assessments.
